Maps & Live Tracking
Real-time vehicle tracking on interactive maps with telemetry, route replay, and landmark overlays.

The Maps module displays all fleet vehicles on an interactive map with real-time position updates via WebSocket. Clicking a vehicle opens a dock panel with detailed telemetry, logs, replay, events, and sensor data.
Map Display Settings

| Cluster | Group nearby vehicles into numbered clusters at low zoom |
| Ripple Effect | Animated ripple on vehicle markers |
| Geofence | Show/hide geofence boundary overlays |

| Route | Show/hide saved route path overlays |
Vehicle Dock Panel
Opens when clicking a vehicle marker on the map. The dock has these tabs:

| Vehicle Details | Speed, ignition, satellites, address, distance, odometer, engine hours, coordinates, GPS model, primary user |
| Logs | System and event logs for the vehicle |
| Replay | Historical route playback with timeline controls |
| Events | Alert events triggered by this vehicle |
| Sensors | Live computed sensor readings |
Route Replay
Replay a vehicle's historical route to see exactly where it went:
- Click a vehicle marker on the map
- Select the Replay tab in the dock
- Choose a time range (Last Hour, Last 3/6/12/24 Hours, Last 7/30 Days, or Custom)
- Click Play — the route trail appears and the vehicle icon animates along the path
- Use Pause, Speed controls, Go to Start, Stop Replay, and Clear Replay buttons
Stop points are marked on the route. Telemetry data updates in the dock as playback progresses.

- Satellite (pure imagery)
Map Actions
| Action | Description |

| Center Map | Center view on selected vehicle |
| Follow | Keep map centered as the vehicle moves |
| Show/Hide Path | Display or clear vehicle trail |
| Google Navigate | Open vehicle location in Google Maps |
Tip
If a vehicle does not appear on the map, check: IMEI assigned, vehicle status is Active, and device status is Connected.
