Industry Solution
Passenger fleet visibility. Every shuttle, every shift.
Follow buses, minibuses and shuttle vehicles across routes and pickup points. Help operations respond to delays, review service activity and keep fleet data on infrastructure you control.
Who this is for
Shuttle operators, employee transport teams, airport transfer providers and passenger fleet managers coordinating vehicles across repeated services.
Challenges
The gaps between a timetable and the road
Service delays are difficult to explain
When a shuttle is late, operations needs to know its last position and recent journey before it can provide a useful update. Driver check calls can interrupt an already busy service.
Pickup and terminal activity is unclear
Repeated trips between campuses, terminals and hotels create many arrivals and departures. Manual logs make it difficult to review service activity consistently.
Vehicle use varies between shifts
Some vehicles spend long periods waiting while others cover repeated runs. Without trip and distance records, planning the next shift relies on incomplete information.
Driving concerns lack journey context
Reports of speeding or unexpected routes need a record of the journey. Supervisors need location and event history to follow up constructively.
Use Cases
Support the teams keeping passengers moving
Monitor active shuttle services
Locate vehicles on the fleet map and check movement status and last-reported time. Use that view to support dispatch calls and coordinate service recovery.
Review pickup and terminal visits
Create geofences around pickup points, terminals and depots. Review entry and exit events alongside trip history to understand how vehicles moved through the service area.
Investigate route and timing questions
Replay a recorded journey when reviewing delays, route concerns or a missed vehicle connection. Compare the GPS record with your scheduling and operating logs.
Connect with transport operations systems
Feed vehicle location data into your own transport dashboard or passenger information application through the API. Keep schedules, bookings and passenger records in the systems that manage them.
Capabilities
Fleet visibility for repeated passenger services
Live Passenger Fleet Map
See the latest reported positions and status of buses and shuttle vehicles across your operating area.
Pickup Point & Depot Geofences
Define important service locations and configure arrival and departure alerts for operational follow-up.
Journey History & Replay
Review recorded routes, stops and vehicle movement when investigating a service question or preparing a route review.
Speed & Event Alerts
Configure supported speed and device event alerts to help supervisors identify journeys that need attention.
Trip & Utilization Reports
Compare distance, trips and idle activity across vehicles and shifts to inform fleet allocation discussions.
Customer-Controlled Deployment
Host telemetry on your own infrastructure and use the API to support your existing operations and information systems.
Fleet Context
Passenger vehicles across your operation
Employee shuttle buses
Buses carrying staff between residential pickup points, workplaces and transport hubs.
Airport and hotel shuttles
Vehicles operating repeated transfer services between terminals, hotels and parking areas.
Minibuses and passenger vans
Smaller passenger vehicles covering local transfers, scheduled rounds and contracted services.
Campus transport vehicles
Shuttles connecting buildings, residential areas and facilities within a defined campus network.
Outcomes
More clarity for each route and shift
Faster operational updates
Give dispatch current vehicle context before responding to a delay or coordinating the next service.
Clearer service reviews
Use recorded journeys and location events to review how routes and pickup visits unfolded.
More informed vehicle allocation
Compare actual activity across vehicles to support decisions about repeated routes and shift coverage.
Consistent journey records
Keep location history and supported alerts in one deployment for supervisors to review over time.
Compliance & Safety
- GPS vehicle tracking does not establish passenger identity, boarding, occupancy or safe arrival.
- Use location records alongside your passenger safety procedures, driver supervision and operational checks.
- Define access and retention policies for vehicle and driver data before sharing information with other systems.
FAQ
Questions from passenger transport operators
Yes. Compatible tracked vehicles can be viewed in the same deployment, with geofences and reports supporting different service areas. Route schedules and dispatch assignments can remain in your existing transport management system.
Geofence events and trip history can provide a vehicle location record near a defined pickup point. Accuracy and event timing depend on the geofence setup, GPS conditions and device reporting frequency.
GPS tracking alone does not identify passengers or count boarding events. Those workflows require suitable passenger systems or sensors and a separately implemented integration.
The API can supply vehicle location data for an application you build or integrate. Choose appropriate access controls and decide which vehicles and data your passengers should see.
The platform can only display data it has received. Check the last-reported timestamp when assessing a position; later upload of stored positions depends on the GPS device, protocol and configuration.
